I was gonna say, I would think you would WANT to do this to a car with a lot of miles. All that I know it does is it cleans out the carbon deposits in your engine. The more miles, the more carbon, so it should help more.

First time I did it to mine was at 110,000. Definitely helped the engine smooth out a little bit.

And as far the as the Taurus goes, I'm pretty sure SeaFoam works on pretty much any engine.

You can do it on the high miles vehicles, the only precaution I have heard alot is don't use it in the crankcase on a high miler. That can break up all the crap and cause some oil leakage, but only sometimes.
