I was gonna say, I would think you would WANT to do this to a car with a lot of miles. All that I know it does is it cleans out the carbon deposits in your engine. The more miles, the more carbon, so it should help more.
First time I did it to mine was at 110,000. Definitely helped the engine smooth out a little bit.
And as far the as the Taurus goes, I'm pretty sure SeaFoam works on pretty much any engine.
