Check the battery

and if your battery light was on it might be the alternator

Try to jump it...if you get nothing......have someone smack the starter while you turn the key. Got a stick maybe try a rolling start.

An easy check is to turn the headlights on and try to start it. If the lights dim low and or go off all together then more than likely the battery needs charging. If the lights stay bright or only lightly dim then its more than likely a bad connection or a starter problem.

I would really check the battery dude. My boss had the same problem last week. He drove his car all day. Parked it for only 5 hours and his did the same thing yours did. We have a load tester at the farm and we tested the battery. It was bad. Weird that it just died.
