sluggish in high rpms

sluggish in high rpms

94 xlt 4x4 4.0 seems sluggish at high rpms and randomly bucks.... and at idle it runs at 700 rpms but smooths out to 900 rpms after about 5 mins... i have codes 99, 81, 57 with a flash scanner

ok now it wont go over 4k rpms in gear and also have koeo codes 157 and 158... wtf??

guys... i really need help on this... also the flange to the manifold on the y pipe is rusted gone... would that make a difference?

solved the problem kinda... i fixed the exhaust leak and weirdly it runs alot better but im not sure if its running at top performance cuz ive never driven a ohv... just a ohc

Hi ,Check your plugs & wires . IN the old days we called it week ignition . I think you have a distrutitor cap & rotor button . A lot of the time the rotor button tip will burn off or will just have moisture in the cap . My thoughts Bud

Leave or push button to drive each time you drive

Hi , Select drive by pushing the gear shift button each time you drive an don't worry you don't need overdrive . Save your money to make your repairs later . You'll burn more gas . My Thoughts Bud

its a 5 speed and i just gave it a tune up and its EDIS so no cap and rotor
