unless you go to an application were you would need high amounts of fuel/air, then you dont need a larger throttle body.......the stock one is pretty good unless you upgrade all your other parts (fuel pump, injectors, intake, MAF sensor).....

I am running:

Super Six Stage 3 Heads
Super Six Cams
Cobra Valvetrain
Super Six Forged Pistons
K&N Intake
Gasket Matched Intake and Manifolds
Halfshafted Throttlebody
Sniper Tuning System
Focus Fuel Pump
FMS 36lb injectors
JBA wires
NGK plugs

I will also be ordering a set of super six forged rods as well.

I just recently pulled my Zex Nitrous kit off the truck. For what I am doing to the truck next, not gonna need it :)

you may get a little bit of better throttle response, but nothing significant.....think about it......with a larger TB you are pulling in more air, more air means you need more fuel, more fuel means you need larger fuel injectors, fuel pump, and so forth.......now to pull in that large amounts of air you need something to aid in pulling it in.....ie: supercharger or turbo.......

Mods

1997 Ranger 4X4 4.0L with ASMI cai, Flowmaster cat-back, Proform e-fan, and I will soon be replacing my two stock cats for a single Magnaflow cat. Also in the mail I have a Screamin Demon coil pack and a set of MSD spark plug wires, when they come in I will gap my NGK plugs to .065.

Other doodads - James Duff traction bars, Rancho Rsx shocks, BF Goodrich AT's 31x10.5, synthetic oil, and a high amp alternator.
