throttle body? MAC intake?

throttle body? MAC intake?
does anyone have the BBK performance throttle body on their 4.0 OHV?...i am seriously considering buying one because they look like a relatively inexpensive way to increase mileage and hp without a difficult installation
...i am also thinking about buying a MAC performance intake for my 4.0 OHV, so if anyone has one of these or at least a similar one i would like to know if you like it and whether or not it has given you any engine problems...thanks.

It won't increase milage. And may marginally increase power elsewhere.
But you very well might see increase throttle response at tip in. Your effectively increasing the amount of air that can enter at a lesser throttle opening. People percieve this as it making more power.. but it's really not. It's no different than if you pushed the stock throttle open further. It's just artifically doing it for you.
If you want a cheap way of getting a small increase... knife edge the stock TB blade, shave off the screws, and thin down the blades rod.
