I recently swapped out my 2.9L to a rebuilt 4.0L, switched all the wiring harnes, and got it running. The only thing holding me back now is that the throttle cable for the 2.9L is too long and its completely compressed so it doesn't matter if I push down the gas pedal or not. I'm having trouble getting it out of the firewall. I know there's a trick to taking a throttle cable out of a truck that had a 4.0L in it (which I have), I just dont know what that trick is. Any help?
