Im impressed with my ranger!

Ok so i have been having to move stuff around my dairy with my ranger and since my diesels are on over time with silage and transporting bails i decided to give my ranger a shot. I only pulled my 16 foot bumper trailer flat bed with 2 axles. I had it loaded with about 900 pounds of scrap metal ( i was too scared to put more). I weighed it all before i left on my scale and came out at 6450 pounds without me in it. (my ranger weighs 4040 pounds by it self with out me in it). I only drove it about 15 miles to the scrap yard and it pulled it with out much conflict. It had some awesome acceleration from a stop. Up top at about 55 it would keep up on hills with my cruise control.
Today, i had to hook up my 16 foot cattle trailer with 2 axles to move 3 200 hundred pound calfs from one pen to another. The cattle trailer must have weight at least 3000 pounds since the flat bed weighed at about 2000 pounds. It pulled it like a champ! I only drove it about a mile over my rocky road which is somewhat hilly.
Over all my ranger is slow but it has some power! Btw its an 2002 ranger 4.0l 4x4 4 door. It has 4.10's so that helped a lot. This is all coming from a guy used to pulling with turbo diesels putting out more than 1000 ft/lbs of torque.
Any questions are welcome.

i would hope it pulled that w/o problems. the 4.0L is rated at 5000lbs for an auto and 3700lbs for a manual. glad to see you did well.

I'd be pissed if i got a manuel lol. My 08 f-250 pulls a 32 foot cattle trailer filled with holstein cattle (about 14-16 head) with no problem. I do have air bags and it is spartan tuned along with about 8 grand worth of accompanying upgrades

Its not that im afraid too, its just that all my loads prolly weigh more than 5 tons with a trailer. My diesels get the job done, i just thought the ranger did a hell of a job.
