Broke down and bought an underdrive pulley

I finally broke down and bought an underdrive pulley for my 03 sohc. How long has it taken to install for those who have done the mod? I was also thinking about going ahead and converting to an efan, but im not sure if its gonna be reliable enough. And what lind of performance/mileage gains have yall seen? Jusnes Modified (where i bought it from) said 12-15 hp and 2-3 mpg, but i was looking for real world numbers.

e-fans are highly debatable. do a search and see what people think of them. i wouldnt run one on my truck. the stock fans is perfectly reliable and its just not worth risking overheating the engine for a couple horsepower.

I have been averaging 25,000 to 30,000 miles a year on my truck...I really dont want to have to worry about my efan falling off or not cutting on...Im hoping the new pulley will do what it says

Check out my PULLEY WEB PAGE

Top pic is how I held the crank still. (A lawn mower blade stuck in a heavy pipe and two bolts)
Second pic is a tool to hold the water pump still.
The rest is a bit of "real world" data.

i appreciate guys...I have some time to decide on the efan it looks like because Jusnes emailed saying it would probably be end of next week before I get it. I already have all the components from my jeep grand cherokee w/ 5.2 V8 (worst vehicle to overheat). I think if i can find a controller thats reliable enough, I might do it. I had it wired on the jeep that when the ignition was on the fan was on with a switch interrupter to cut it off for water crossings. So even at idle, the fan stayed on high which i didn't much care for.

Wanna know the reason for the back order? Mustang Owners.

My opinion on e-fans are in the thread linked above. I wheel...ran the efan while wheeling a few times...it sucked. royally sucked.

My U/D pulley was worth every cent. Constant MPG of low to mid 20s.
I bought mine from graniteguy.
