*Sound Clip* Flowmaster 40 on my 4.0 SOHC

For anyone that wants to hear what the Flow 40 sounds like on the 4.0, here's my setup. I can't recall what the exact size of the tiops are offhand. They might be 3".....I'd have to double check...anyways, for you listening / viewing pleasure..... (I did it with the digital camera....so you get a video too lol)

If anyone has problems getting it to work, let me know and I'll post the direct link to it as well.

That sounds pretty good. I like. I'll have to get a sound clip of mine posted sometime.

Yea I'd like to hear yours Adam. I wasn't really going for a huge performance gain. I know the Flow's don't move as much CFM as yours does....but I'd like to hear how it sounds. Let me know when you get a sound clip up.

I believe the magic of the final exhaust sound is in the diameter of the pipe and the size of the tips. But, I'm probably only half right....I'm limited on my exhaust knowledge....but I'm happy with mine.

Some here on the board should start a "sound clip" sticky. A place were we could all post our exhaust clips.

Well on Rangers 2.5 is the biggest diameter you want to go with duals #1, #2 the size of the case on the muffler has alot to do with sound, teh smaller the case teh louder its gonna be. and 3rdly, the tips do make a difference, its like a round echo-chamber, it intensifys the sound (not much...but definately noticeable), and to be quite honest that really didnt sound much different then my Magnaflow, mines just deeper and less rraspy but i like the raspy pops in there....Definately sounds good, gained alot of respect for teh flow in a 4.0!

Sounds good. Is that just a Original 40 series or the super/delta flow one?
