Howdy all.
02 FX4, 5-speed, 90K.
I had just replaced the head gasket and bolts, and was turning the VERY LAST head bolt to the final 90* (ok maybe I hit 91 or 92, can't really tell), and it just didn't feel right.
Almost like that feeling when a bolt is starting to strip the threads, but more of a "locking in place" feeling.
I'm really sweating this because I'm PRAYING I didn't strip the threads in the block, however, I highly doubt that a torque-to-yield bolt can strip out iron block threads.
So, anyone here ever done this before? Should this be fine or should I expect problems?
