Will my stock transmission shifter work, truck was a 4.0L with an auto or do I need to get a floor mount? if so what is everyone using. you can someone suggest one that works good. do need anything crazy just one that will work

I've got a friend with a 5.0 in his and is using a mustang floor shifter. But you can most likely use your stock shifter. You may need to modify the linkage though.

 

Currently I am doing the same swap as you.. I am going to just run a lever thru the floorboard.
Which engine mounts are you using? Also which oil filter kit
