Hi there! I have been wanting to put a 302 in my 1999 RegCab. 2WD Ranger for a while. I have seen people put the 302 in 97's and older but not newer. I'm not talking about the under powered Explorer engine. Could some help me answer some questions?

-Motor Mounts? (someone told me you could flip them?)
-Tranny cross-member matching up?
-Do I have to split the engine from the tranny to put it in?
-Wiring harness?
-Stock fuel tank sending unit working?

I believe the tranny is a 3 speed with overdrive. (C4?)
Im also picking up a 8.8 rear end.

C4 was phased out in the early 80's you should have an AOD with your 88 donor.
