oh yeah an i have a fuel regulator so i dont have to worry about the pressure, thats taken care of...i just need it to come out now. lol

Keep in mind that your intank EFI pump runs at high pressure and is regulated to supply 65 PSI coming out of the tank. By contrast, a carbureted engine only needs about 3 PSI to fill the float bowl. Any fittings and lines that are carrying 65 PSI must be rated for high pressure EFI apps. Hose clamps and regular fuel line are not strong enough.

I would not recommend using the stock pump in the first place. I would have replaced it with a low PSI inline pump. But all you need to do is either find the factory wiring and make sure it is hooked up. Otherwise wire in a new relay into the system. You need a constant power and ground, and an ignition on power. Then send it to the pump. Do it that way even if you go inline.
Are you sure the regulator is gonna drop you all the way down to 3-5 psi???

see thats what i thought.. so i did a lil lookin... an came up with somethings i can try.. first i took out all the spark plugs, second i took off the transmission cause i thought that myabe the torque conv. wasnt in properly, lastly i lowered the oil pan to see if i can see anything an nothing.... so i then tried to turn it again an it still locked up on me... thats why im a lil worried and hope its nothing major.

yea im hopin its jus hittin sumtin an i can fix it..thats why ima take it out an take a real good look at it so i dont reaaly mess sumitn up.. it still has the stock cam in there... bearings? sry im kinda new to some things..lol.. the motor came out of a 1996 f-150...atleast i think its a 96...
a lil off topic here but.. the oil pan that it came with is a rear sump oil (i think) an im lookin to get the dual sump but i notice on the pictures i see of them, theres a hole on right side of it.. so im assuming thats for the dip stick. but on my engine the dipstick goes through the side of the engine.
am i lookin at it wrong? am i getting the right one? im lost.

ooo... ok that makes since...
i origonally got the engine from the junkyard (jus the block and heads no brackets or nothing)...not sure if it was going to run or not so i took my chances...i then brought it home, an to make sure that the engine was atleast operable i manually turned it and it was jus fine...
so then i had to buy lil htings like the brackets for the compressor an alternator etc., intake manifold, carb., distributor,an fab'd motor mounts (which i have to change cause i dont think there gonna work). finally put it in an hooked everything up, so i went to go do the timing an tried to find TDC, i went to go manually turn it and it would start to turn then jus stop an wont turn no more an doin it pretty hard too.
