You do realize all the custom work that is involved, don't you? For all that work you could have a turbo/SC'd 302, 331/347 or 351, 408, etc. and make the same, if not more power with less engine weight and achieve mileage to which you can daily drive this "project".

Unless you're just trying to cause an uproar to seek attention or what, but judging by the knowledge you have displayed about everything in this thread, I seriously doubt you'll finish a swap (to a respectable level) if you even start it.

Well I personally know of two "played out" 5.0's that would walk your 460. I love how no one can give props to some one for moding a vehicle. If some one wants to put a 5.0 in their truck let them. If you don't like it keep it to your self and put your 460 or whatever you want into your truck.

This kids aggervaiting me, I personally have done 2 302 swaps and they are the best motor for our application, now me being a ford tech and going through ford program I know them in and out. Ford has some good motors, the 460 is a great one, But the 302 will be able to be built better and work better in a ranger.

Anybody with common sense or knowledge of vehicles would notice somethign like that from the condition or the way it drove down the road. Or atleast ran a carfax before they bought it.

its only maybe "played out" in old gens, there is hardly any 5.0s in 98+. yes If I had a 92, I would throw a bigass motor in because its old, can find room easier etc. the new trucks this just works better and under a decent timeframe.
