83 Ranger with a Small Block Chevy-350
I have a 1983 Ford Ranger, Love love love the first gens!!! I'm looking to put a 350 into it, I was wondering if anyone knew of any headers that would fit without major modifications, It's my first big project. I'm not looking to go cheap on quality, I want it done right, and take the time to learn. If anyone has any input on helping me out it would be amazing. As of now i have the engine dropped in, nothing else. Please Help build my ranger!

Why would you do such a hideous thing to a Ford by installing a Chevy engine in it? You will find many parts for Ford 302's into the Ranger and almost nothing for a Chevy into a Ranger. Unless you are a highly skilled fabricator or are willing to pay one to do this you are going to be broke very quickly. This is NOT a good idea.

Back in the day I had a 60 Panel Delivery. (The chassis, doghouse, windows and doors were stock F100. Ford only had to custom make from the B pillar back.
All the conversions kits for that year and the '53-'56 Pickups were for Chevy small blocks. I had a 327 in mine coupled to a 400 turbo auto and a Camaro 12 bolt positraction. For some reason keeping it "Ford pure" was way too difficult and, as Masteratarms93 says: "Those things work in everything". Including motorcycles.
This was way before the "Boss" or "SVO" powerplants
My 4 bolt 327 kicked some serious butt and it was a rare body style.
At any rate, I'm looking at a small block (Ford) conversion myself but, if I run into anything for a 283/307/327/350 I'll let you know.
