okay, background story, my dads old 94 f150 5.0..172XXX miles, not been running right..wont go into overdrive sometimes..we crank it today b/c there was a big puddle under it, unknown substance, was green like antifreeze, but oily with no smell..i crank it to put it back, notice the dreadful CEL, and the airbag light is flashing 3-2...whats wrong with this ol beater?

one of my friends had a '95 F150 with the 5.0L and had numerous transmission problems- had to be rebuilt a couple of times.. the O/D light would flash and it would start off in 2nd gear sometimes..I'm pretty sure you can run a scanner on it to figure out the CEL, not sure about the green stuff or the airbag sequence (bob would know that one) Good luck man
