hello new here, swapping carbed 5.0 to a '99 5.0

I have always wanted to swap a sbf into a ranger (ive done sbc in s10s but rangers look soo much better and they have always been carbed) but I ended up buying a flareside already swapped to a carbed 302. Short story, engine was on its way out and the best I can tell its a 69-77 so instead of rebuilding id rather run fi and a roller engine. The job was shoddy too. Im going to swap a explorer engine in its place and fix/finish up the rest of the truck but I will need some info from time to time. So far I have just picked up the engine/wiring harness and chassis harness(I have to order an ecm). I will be freshening and dressing up the new engine before I put it in, my 1st question is there anything "out of the ordinary" when swapping the 95/01 electrics? Ie the edis, not using the 4r70w tranny(going infront of a c6), is the chasis plug pinout from a 99 explorer different from a 95 ranger, ect. I am not new to wiring or fuel injected swaps but this is my first ford. Any words of advice before is start? I am running a 25gal fuel cell with explorer sending unit/pump, modifying my current headers for the gt40p heads, ill be installing stiffer valve springs(prolly the ford motorsports) and 1.7:1 roller rockers and all gaskets/seals and new head bolts(maybe studs), quite timing gears, hv oil pump, sealed power flat top pistons/molly rings. If the pinouts are different, it be really awesome if someone would share a link to the pinouts (truck was a 2.3 manual). Thanks!
