I AM JEALOUS! This is a pic to all you guys that said a newer, high horsepower engine in a Ranger couldnt be done! But I dont have the money to do it...

I bet you would be surprised what that 8.8 can handle.

pretty cool thats for sure.

I guess I am outdated already... the 5.4 is nothing. haha

the 8.8 is very good. the mustang GT has it

You have .4 liters on him lol. But he has an extra 80 hp...

Nice, not neccesarily all about money though. Anyone of us could afford it. Just have to save, not spend. I like it though. Nice and clean swap.

the motor alone is 8grand.. plus you will still need a trans and a custom driveshaft. Seems like you can make a pretty badass older 5.0 for less

id rather have an older 302. more support than the newer ones

Ok, I joined s197forums to check out the build thread and I talked to the guy making this 5.0 Coyote Ranger. Now he is going to join OUR forum and give us real time updates!!!

Pretty sweet, but don't see the point really... He probably put more than half of what the new ranger is worth into doing that...
