looking for cold air.(f-150)
time to put a cold air intake in the f-150. been doing research and stuck between a few. just looking for input.
what ive really had my eye on is the AFE cold air intake. not sure if one is made for the ranger, anyone have any experience with it? full intake with heat shield and tract.
ofcourse, theres volant but that just seems to me to be a modified factory intake. they use a different box and tract but somethin about it makes me skeptical. again, comments?
third theres the AEM brute force. supposed to be made specifically for bigger engines. anyone?
then theres K&N and all the others. ive been looking at the 77 series or aircharger(non-CARB FIPK) because i really need a heat shield. thanks for any input.

.... why? ill admit its good, why is it the best? im serious, does it have the best numbers? i dont know. i bought my volant because i got it for cheap. there are a lot of people who have had problems with air force one intakes. K&N usually makes good stuff, so does Volant. go with the cheapest, thats what i would do
