No what happen was, I contacted the people I bought this adapter from and ask if i could return the 9 inch adapter plate and get my money back. I bought the 5inch adapter plate at the same time this was happening. Well he thought Since i was going to send the other adapter back to him and once he got it he would ship the other adapter to me. Well my plan was to wait until I got the other adapter before i ship the other one back. I get an email from him last night asking if i shipped the other adapter back yet. I told him no and he said "oh, i was waiting until you sent the other one back before i shipped the other adapter you order. Kind of act like its an exchange type of transaction and not a refund." I was alittle mad. I was all waiting for it in the mail for a week and a half thinkin id have it in the next few days but nope, it hasnt even been ordered yet, WTF..?

According to this site they still offer it.. Maybe they dont offer it on their website anymore for some reason. If they dont make it anymore, ill be in the market for a AWD 4r70w transmission with the AWD transfer case :(

Ill keep my fingers crossed

does everything bolt up in the stock location with the 4406? and does the 4406 TC plug right in to the ranger harness?

the headers remained off for a few reasons... first was when i put the motor in the truck all i had was chains, i wasnt about to wrap those chains around my new headers. secondly they came in the mail a couple days after i got the motor. i have a body lift so removing them shouldnt be too hard. and yes it woulda been easier to install them before put the motor in. oh well

as for numbers 215 stock, uhhh headers 20 hp, intake 14.4(according to website).... ill guess maybe 240ish give or take 10horses. maybe ill jump it on a dyno just for a fun run to see what its pushin out lol... probably 190 to the wheels lol

as for that fan. i had to cut a couple tabs off and shorten the shroud a bit... looks good to me and it stays pretty tight on the radiator :)

Can't wait to hear the repot on the running and how it drives.
We need some audio on the sound of the headers/exhaust system.
What are you running for exhaust after the headers ?

yep!! RWHP @ 190 compared to the 3.0 roughly around RWHP @ 100-120.. There is still a significant difference between the 2... maybe later down the road ill upgrade the rockers with some new valve covers. maybe inch my way up to about 200 RWHP... That would be awesome!

speakin of which. how much room do you think you will have to clear from the hood to the top of the intake. I bet with a BL you could run an aftermarket high rise intake.

I wonna build a semi performance modded engine when i do mine. good to know high rise aftermarket intake will clear. plus that allows room for bigger valve covers!

Ok so the 5 inch adapter came in today and I must say, its a smallll adapter compared to the 9inch one.. Ill have a pic of the 2 in a few but Im sooo glad i got it and dont have to go another route in keeping my 4wd. I can definetly tell this adapter will work because the moutning holes for the tranny mount sits back a goud couple inces and i needed those couple inches on the 9 inch adapter to make it fit. Im happy and tomorrow the transmission will be dropped off to have the parts installed :)

there is nothing to plug the 4406 into, or no need I should say. just for 4x4 light if you want to keep that working. otherwise its a manual so nothing to wire in.

swap is looking good! I just chopped my exhaust after the muffler, so its dumped right before the axle and its waaay more badass. The little bit up pipe I had running over my axle and dumper at the spare tire made it pretty quiet. I'll get some new vids up up oh and a burnout vid! haha
