Couple new pics. Got the grill on and such. Sorry the pics suck. No lights in the garage yet!

You deserve a round of applause. That's a very innovative project and great workmanship. Got any glamor shots of the truck yet? I haven't seen many drop top Rangers. I'd like a better look at yours. If you're ever in southern Ontario with it I'd like to see it in person too.

so... i just saw this thread...

While i give you props for doing something different and accomplishing your goal...

I'm gonna say you need a lot more time with a welder. Granted, a brake line mount's welds are probably not the most critical welds in the world... I'd be pretty damn upset if i paid for a custom set of headers with welds like that on it.

Other than that...I dig the project!

You know the welds look a lot better then the pictures show. However, that welder was replaced because it didn't work to good.

Here's a couple pics of the truck. I still have to finish the rear end so I can get my wheels and tires on.

Must be the pic making it look worse. It is slightly tweaked higher on the drivers side. That way there was more head room, and it didn't have to be to tall..

I am working on a removable hard top. I have a top already. But it is not ready. I am working on ways to latch it, have it seal, and not cause damage. I haven't completely deceided what to do yet.
