bigger injectors and re-tunr the computer. Also different fuel system plumbing and different rings and such. That stuff is way corrosive. it can be done, and if it needs a rebuild, not too bad to do then.
the real question is why? It gets worse milage, and isan't enough cheaper to offset the milage. It's also harder to find. Unless you really need that extra octain for boost or crazy compression, then again I ask, Why?
BTW:the only reason it is cheaper at all is because of government funding.

Ethanol is crap like you've already heard. Not to mention at Dodge we're having problems with Ethanol because the alcohol washes the oil out of the cylinders and is scoring the pistons and walls terribly.

Don't get me started on the money wasting joke of a product called ethanol. In Minnesota it is estimated ethanol costs the average citizen $900 more per year. That's not if you use it either. That's because of stupid democrats that subsidized the whole thing. Corn costs more, milk costs more, burger costs more, and other food costs. It's a flipping joke. I'd like to talk to the moron that screwed the rest of us. At $0.70 per gallon less then gas, E85 cost's a driver roughly $0.12 more per gallon to use. Not including any additional cost associated with the vehicle. It is around 100+ octane, so for that cool. Otherwise, quit letting the government pull the lids over your eyes.

Thanks for reading my rant! lol

maybe if you could crush up corn and use the juices in yer car strait up. then thatd be worth it

It's actually a much less eco friendly product. It pollutes much more during the refinement process...

Why in the...

I did some reasearch on this and have to ask the following question: Why in the hell would you want to do that? dude you're talking a completely new fuel system and to run E85 it must have the right components and they corode very quickly. Plus that E85 must be brewed perfectly and consistantly which no one has been able to do on a regular basis. The IRS is pushing that discount and the actual cost isn't what they say it is. here's another thing too, they didn't mention that the brewing companies, and some of the manufacurers are being sued because of vehicle problems that were not covered by the warranty for using E85. Chevy being the main one because they push that Flex fuel crap more than anybody.
