v8 swap questions
what fitment issues come up with a 302 swap?
when i buy my project ranger soon ill be doing a 302 swap, but i could care less about emissions or being street legal, no a/c or heater. and a carb setup
i will be cutting off everything from the firewall to core support and mounting fiberglass 1 piece on the cage... so alot of sheet metal will be removed.
are there any firewall clearance issues? i will probally cut alot of the firewall off and smooth it out anyways but what fitment problems should i be concerned about?
and solid motor mounts vs rubber? which is stronger?
i dont care about creature comforts with the truck as it will be a "pre-runner" based build.. and it will be a 93-97...
