Curiosity is killing this cat.
I admit, I didn't search much. Little tid bits. So, if you guys get angry, I'm sorry. But, I am curious on a few things.
First off, motor mounts. This is more specifically directed at My91Ranger, as we have the same gen: With the selection of engine you have (93 mustang), did you have to mock up your own mounts, or was it practically bolt in?
Next is transmission. I want to stick with auto for now, cause I am lazy, and if I need to have the need of a manual, I'll drive my dodge. But, I still want to be able to run with a t-case. If I go with a 302 (5.0, whatever you want to call it), what transmission can I use to still use a transfercase? And is it possible to stick with my electronic one (1354E, I believe is what it is), or do I have to get a manual one?
Already figure for the swap of all the wiring. That's a fact, right? Or is it just one module that gets swapped?
Thanks for all the replies, guys. This is just getting a feeler. Not sure when the swap will happen, but it will. No sense in getting rid of the mighty green Ranger when I already have more money dumped in it then I could ever get back.

I'm sure you've known by now but RPS' V8 Tech has a library of your question's answers.
Motor Mounts: Foxbody (93' and earlier) convert or 94/95' mounts, it SHOULD bolt up, depending on your final positioning of motor (forward/rearward).
Trans: This is the fork in the road, you have a lot of options here depending on, A) How many speeds (3 or 4), B) Electronic or TV controlled (which also depends on motor, fuel setup and ECU) and C) Application. Most if not all, have aftermarket support for T-case adapters.
Wiring: You'll need Engine Harness, ECU/PCM and depending on motor/trans, transmission harness.
Jimmeh, I suggest you find a low mileage Full Size Bronco with an AOD and T-Case and bolt that onto a 89-93' 5.0 HO engine and harness/ECU (you are going EFI right?).
