Mounting things on the sub box

Mounting things on the sub box

Would i be ok mounting a flashlight and fire extinguisher to the side of my sub box?

why not? only issue would be rattling/vibration, right?

if it's the box you got from me, you'll have no problem. that box is VERY solid, and does not rattle one bit. of course, you may hear rattling from whatever you mount to it, but the box itself will not vibrate or rattle whatsoever, especially once you mount the box and secure it to the cab.

it's hard to explain, but a good sealed box will not and should not vibrate or rattle at all. when i had my subs bumping, a good test was to simply put the palm of my hand on the curve below the sub, and feel for vibrations.... there really isn't any at all. you should not be able to feel or tell that the sub is on by feeling the box. this is hard to do and explain because of course you're going to feel your entire truck rattle and vibrate, as well as hear it, etc... but if you try it out, you'll notice it won't have much of a feel when bumping.

Yea its fairly easy to do as long as its good MDF of good size like 3/4 inch or bigger.
