Which amp??

I am looking at running to Rockford fosgate P3S subs. They are recommended 400 watt each.

I am looking for a recommendation on a single amp that can power the two. Or if i should get two amps.

thanks

i usually go 100 watts above the rms for each sub so a 1000 watt amp would be fine

also since its a dual 2ohm get a 1ohm stable amp that way if you want you can wire them parallel or in series

you can get more flexibility out of a dual 4 ohm if they make them in single 4ohm that would be best

if you can find directed 1100d i know its 1100 watts but those are bullitproof. try kicker, jbl-crown, audiobahn, jl audio just remember you get what you pay for, $100 1000watt amp aint gunna be worth a dam so a good 1000 watt amp is gunna run $400-$800

That's just what I do an amp isn't pushing the max output all the time that way you don't have to run an amp with the gain all the way up its just not good for an amp to be tuned to max of the amp plus if you ever plan on upgrading your system you can just buy new subs you don't have to buy another amp unless you want

on the 4ohm dual or single vc models
