Audio System

Hey guys, I'm thinking about dropping a new system into my 2007 Ford Ranger Ext Cab (Sport Model). Currently I have just a basic system with a 12" sub and I want to upgrade to 2 12's. The two options I was considering was 2 alpine type R's or a pre loaded dual kicker box. I'm wondering if the Alpine's are really worth the extra money and what kind of box you guys have had the best luck with (Ported vs Sealed and Orientation of box). Some links to pre-made boxes would be great or even diagrams for making one would work too. I'm not too concerned about the back seats being usable but having 1 functional would be a bonus.

Suggestions for Amps and Door speakers would be great as well.

If your willing to design a box that would be great. I havn't build a box before but I'm quite confident in my wood working ability, so I'm sure i could do it. Some tips on building the box would be great.
