honestly with the type r, dont get the 10.. get the 12..

and if you get the 12 inch type r, then make a custom ported box.. tuned to 32 hz. But then again, that will be a big box. (but if you run a good 500 watts rms to it, it will hit 130s easy)

single ported 10" type r on a 1kw amp...nuff said.

1.5 cubes tuned to 34...sound good and hit decent...you'll get up into the 30's-32's with that EASY.

I was up to 138 with a single 10.

I loved mine, so much that I may even get another 10" r...still undecided.

I dunno, I used to make those things **** hard for what they are. 80 dollar subs hitting close to a 50 (my tcab box), and a single 10 ported was 138...double the rated RMS also...never blew it.

Didnt you have them setup to run 1600watts rms on that amp? If thats so, 800 a piece.

Yes, but I was running 1200 (actual watts) at 1 ohm, which is 600 a piece, they are rated for 500rms at 2 ohms...IIRC that is WAY too much power for them.

They barely move...and I still got em close to a 50...crazy stuff right there.

I used the same exact amp for the 10, @1 ohm. So I was powering 1200 at 1 ohm (just for burps). All the other times that amp was turned way down...and it was still a loud setup for what it is.
