What's up dude. Really I'd say your best bet is to just do some really good speakers front and rear. Sound quality will be much greater off just that. I know you wont get that bass that is sounds like you want but I would not think that a sub...Even a little one would get enough air space or have enough space in general to fit or sound good in there. You best be is to just put a sub in the back. I know it sucks that you lose a bit of room in the back but it is what it is...I'm going for one that you can have it hooked up so you can remove the sub and amp whenever you need to. There are a bunch of threds in this section that go into this stuff. TONS!...Best bet is to use the seach button. Sub or Subs etc. here is a link to one talking about it.

There are many more just like this one. Go check em out...Try and find recent ones though. That way your not bringing posts back from the dead. haha good luck.

just take the jump seats out and make your sub enclosures to fit in the place where the seats were, if you do it right you can bolt the subs in the same holes that the seats were bolted to, have not done it yet but that's what i'm gonna do when spring gets here. HHhhhmmm......jump seats, dumbest thing ford ever did. Dodge had a full length seat in the older Dakota's.......why couldn't Ford have copied it....AAaaagggghhh

Change the factory speakers out for quality speakers would be my first start. I have two 6.5" Infinities in my truck, and they are amazing. After that you can add on a sub, I have a 10" Bazooka (got it for free) and with some patience of tuning it sound quality is amazing.
