I haven't had problems with mine for the most part. Sometimes using thick cd it won't want to eject but you use another cd and push down. Comes out everytime. But for most cd's I've never had any problem. What are you looking to pay for one?

The biggest trouble is trying to ship them. They are pretty easily damaged by careless shippers. I'm in the process of trying to get reimbursed for one that FedEx busted.

Oh, well that bothers me. Hmmm maybe I can sell it locally. Or at least get it insured.

The biggest issue the CD-6 player is during shipping. Once installed and working, they're pretty reliable from my experience.

I didn't know they made a CD6-MP3 head-unit. I'll have to check around. Do you have pictures?

I traded my unit for another. My CD6 apparently broke and was unrepairable, the one I received had the CD unit knocked out. I disassembled the unit, found the laser was knocked out of it's track, realigned it and it has been working flawlessly since.

My '07 from factory has a CD-6 that plays mp3's as well as sirius right from the headunit and i can hook my ipod up to the aux jack and listen through the stereo wihout using those crappy fm modulators, I love it, only thing it doesn't do is video

I'm getting an "eject error" message. How can I get the CD out of the head unit?

What I had to do was take the radio out of the truck entirely and take the case off and remove the CD that way. Worked perfectly after that.

I have the pioneer 6 disk in dash changer with mp3 capabilities. I just removed it and put in a nice aftermarket pioneer in its place. With Pioneer 5x7 3 ways all around, it sounds a lot better with the aftermarket pioneer. The stock radio is for sale if anyone wants it. I have no use for it anymore.
