How about this Amp/ sub combo?
Im playing with the idea of getting a better amp and subs. Right now i've got a lightning audio amp, a rockford p1 sub and a lightning audio sub....(used to have 2 p1's, but one got messed up, so I put the lightning audios in and one of them messed up, so now i've got one of each...lol). Anyways, what do ya'll think about this setup? Audiobahn

Sub:

ALSO, I want to get a headunit so I dont have to use that HI output or whatever the crap it is. If I get an amp and subs, I dont want to spend over $150 on the H/U. The last one I had was an Blaupunkt, and I liked it.....it was like $120, had a bunch of EQ setting you could change, including freqencies for the subs, and all the other stuff. It had great radio reception too. Is there anything like that?
I used to know a bunch about car audio and stuff, but I've forgotten some of it over the past year.

rule of thumb...always put atleast 75% of the RMS to the sub, but your question, it would be deeper but the amp would have to work really hard to get them to do right, get a bigger amp then the RMS of the speakers so the amp does not have to be turned all the way up, better to over power then under power
