In-dash??

Yeah I was thinking of getting an In-dash head unit for my truck. Do you guys prefer a certain one? Tell me what you think?

Um... all the headunits go in the dash?

If you're talking about an in-dash video screen though, which I think you might be, I'd suggest Pioneer's in-dash or Alpine's in-dash. Both are very good from what I've heard.

I prefer pioneer video in-dash, but kenwood makes a real nice one.

just stay away from the pioneer avic- n2 ( i think thats it) it functions fine but is less than user friendly and lacks capabilities

it's not that bad, i installed one.

IMO it's the same as installing a "system"

it's basically the same as wiring an amp and wiring your screen/mouse/keyboard and your gps and dvd drives...the kid i installed bought one off mp3car.com and it was like 800 for just the comp and he got a flipout 6.5 or 7 for 300...alot cheaper than an awesome indash navi and the navi is SICK on it!!! plus dvd and everything already on your computer hd...i like it so much

that is awesome. IMO it would have looked better if it was a flip up screen though.
