Decent amps??

just wanted to hear if people think gettin some cheap speakers and cheap subs and doing it all myself vs. going to get done by professional and pay out the a$$ for it.

ilike the do it yourself idea cuz then if i blow em or muss up not alots lost and gain a lil knowledge in car audio.

yeah, just do it yourself, you will gain some knowledge and save alot of money that way. Most of it is really not that hard to do, and there is alot of sites online that can help you out too. About the only thing that I pay to have someone do is my remote start alarm, I dont like messing with all that stuff. Also instead of getting cheap speakers and equipment, why not buy some better quality stuff with the money you save doing it yourself. Good quality speakers make a world of difference, especially when amped.

not very familiar with the shallow subs, I run 10" Fosgates though, they sound good to my ear. I love my Alpine amps, they have good clean power, and dont get too hot, even when I have accidently thrown my jacket on top of them. I have a mono running my subs and a two channel running the fronts.
