Door Knobs

Door *****

the roll to the windows rattle from the bass from the speakers in the door. How would you fix that?

Turn the volume down.

still do even with it down but not all the way down. I still wanna have bass but not by a sub yet becuase i dont have the money for one.

mine do that too....annoying as hell...there the only things in the whole truck that rattle and it sucks. not sure how u would make it stop.

i thought about trying to tape something to it that will make it more solid like a piece of foam or medal?

Put in a sub...

Cured mine.





Or get brand new window crank handles.

yeah i dont have the money right now but im gonna wait tell summer or a job that will last to get one.

With a headunit that has a sub pre-out, when it senses the amp and sub being there, it'll change the amount of bass being sent to the door speakers. At least that's how i figure it. lol. I had the same problem with rattling crank handles....then in went the sub and hearing the rattle is a thing of the past.

New cranks are only like $15 from the dealership brand spankin' new. When that 'roller' is loose from use over time, it's what rattles. Going new, they are tight and have very little play.

im gonna go the sub way but i need a job first so i can pay for 2 12's im getting a new headunit for christmas

Go to your GF house get a those THIN hair ties. snap one around each roller... no more rattle.. and enjoy

or, take them off of the truck, and put a short screw in the back of the hole to expand the plastic fingers and tighten the space out
