Finished!!!(for now)

Well I finished my system(knock on wood). I think that it should hold me over for now. I actually installed the sub and it's amp all by myself this time. Pretty satisfying, and it sounds great. Let's Recap:

Pioneer Head-Unit 4900iB($180)
Kicker 08 KS 6x8's
Kicker ZX350.4 Amp ($230 for speakers, amp and wiring shipped)
Alpine 10" SWE-1042 ($40 shipped)
Kicker ZX400.1 amp ($80 shipped)
Total: $530 give or take a bit

I made it in under my budget of $700 which is good

Looks pretty decent, I'm not crazy about how the sub is sitting on the floor like that, but I it still does the trick.

The ten is plenty loud inside the cab, but once you step outside it's not very loud. For how much I paid for the sub it is more than enough.

Just the way it's sitting doesn't look that good to me. I guess I like them standing up on the bottom better. Looks kinda like it was thrown in there.

Mine was a lost leader from the sunday paper, I was lucky to get a v6 let alone an extended cab. I guess the box does look a little cheesy, but i still sometimes put people in the back, and this box allows both back seats to be used to some extent

I don't like the setup with the speaker facing up like that without a grille, there's too much possiblility to do damage to it when you throw something in the back of the cab. Just something to think about.

only suggestion is to run that speaker wire under the carpet and use some male and female connectors and your install will look 100time cleaner.

I think it needs to be standing up against the back wall of the cab and then anchored down to something.
