CD's wont play. Please help guys
I replaced stock head with the upgraded mach head, obviously still ford and it works randomly but 8/10 times it wont play my CD's.
Is it a matter of burn speed? They are in the right audio format. ANY help is so welcome. Im tired of being restricted to listening to the crap they play on the radio far too often.

Yes burn speed is Important. A burn speed of 4x is the maximum you want to use when your trying to make discs that are compatible with all players. You also want to make sure it is a "close session" burn. It has to be in the proper format as well. You have to be sure that if you are using mp3s that they are being decompressed to .cda format. That will depend on you software and options. It cannot be a mp3 cd. The "book" type of cds you use is also a factor from what I remember. Certain "book" formats will be less likely to play in all players. Sorry, Its been years since iv'e burned a disc.
