I've never listened to or heard much about Pioneer Premier subs. I'm sure someone else could tell you. It sounds like a good price to me, including installation and building a box. Looking forward to seeing some pics.

410 for just the box itself? Whats the price frame for everythign included? If it was 410 for everything, they got you soem extra cheap equipment.. probably a real low range amp and sub, youll get some boom boom from it, but nothing high quality probably.

Sounds like a good system to me. I have a 10" Pioneer Premiere that beats for only being fed ~500 watts @ 2 ohms.

I thought the same thing until i listened to my friends shallow kenwood 12 on 250 watts and it sounds really good. Not incredibly loud but it adds a pretty significant amount of bass.

nope i went with the rockford 500 instead of the cheap 1500 it pounds and sounds great for my little truck i was worried about slim subs too but they really surprised me if i ever find my cam i will get a video. maybe they are under powered but i wont have to worry about blowing them lol im not a big smart guy when it comes to wiring of subs but they said they are bridged together i would guess in a parralell can you tell from the pic?

i have two alpine 10" powered by a 450W mono amp and it sounds great! louder than hell and sound quality is excellent! its not necessarily about how much power you have, its about the setup and tuning. having a quality box is a huge bonus too

you dont need two amps. a good mono amp will easily run both your subs and give you great sound and performance

That's probably enough for the small interior of the ranger. Loud enough to do permanent damage to your ears lol.

Why did they cut off your armrest mount? I would be extremely pissed if they did that, especially if they didn't ask 1st. You could make a box fit those subs back there without wrecking anything.

it was my desicion the only way to put the two twelves was 1- cut away the factory back speaker points. 2- leave the arm rest and lose like 6 more inches of leg room we tried it with it there and i was all crammed up to the wheel so wasnt gona happen. 3- go with one ten and no what woulda been the point. so i decided to unbolt the arm rest but the one brackect goes all the way to the front of the seat and is also part of the cup holder mount so i decided to pull the foam and whatnot as far forward as we could and take a air powered jigsaw and go to town. you cant even tell the mounts were ever there i still have them if i ever sell it or what not it its easyly welded back on i might even do the bucket seat mod but i like having the arm rest console there. it is sitting on the seats and doesnt move
