so this is what im thinking of using as a sub, a box, and an amp...let me know all pros and cons to this equipment. i really want a sub and want to get a good system, but at a good price asap! by the way im not purchasing from crutchfield.com...im probably going to buy my setup on some ebay stores that still have the stuff brand new. here it is:

you should get a sub that can handle 2 ohms if that is the amp you are going to get. if not, you wont get the full rated power of the amp.

 

2 ohm subs are hard to find...all the subs that i find that are 2 ohms arnt the best subs out there. and are 300 watt RMS @ 2 ohms and 300 watt RMS @ 4 ohms the same amount of power? and loudness?

 

get a different amp then, OR if you run what you have listed here, you will only be getting half the rated RMS power. It will still bump plenty hard though

 

its def. not hard to find a good sub with 2 ohms..if moneys not an issue go for the orion hcca 12.2

I installing my lanzar tomorrow..its 2200w max 1100 rms 2 ohm sub...it was only 149$ off of online car stereo...you dont always have to go name brands to get good subs...

its an alright package. I would prefer you getting a 2ohms alpine type r or kicker comp.
