Damn I thought me, Josh, and Jared were the only ones who went big around this site. I'm packing two sa-15's in my truck. Box is 6.6ft^3 and is tuned around 35hz. I have a build log for it if you care to see.

yeah i used to post over there. it's still going strong. teampsi knows how to build a recone... and autotek makes one hell of an amp. i've been maxing it out on >10v for over a year now and no blown mosfets or anything... gotta hand it to my oem alternator too i guess.

a 2 and a half year old yellow top and spv70 on an oem 90A alt... yup. used to have a ohio generator 250A alt, brand new YT and kinetik hc2000. that kept my voltage at a steady 13V with the 3000.1 @ .35ohm and my old t500.2 cranked... the good ole days.

How much did that HO alt run you? I've been thinking of getting like a 200a one. I'd like my voltage to stay around 14+ instead of the 13.7 it constantly sits at.

515 after shipping. yeah it's high, but it did ~200 amps at idle and was built to last. unlike most cheaper HO alts that do rated current at 10k rpms and use stock windings with a "hot-rodded" voltage regulator. you definitely get what you pay for.

edit: too bad you didn't buy it on CA.com when i sold it for $275 after just a year of use...

I love hair tricks. I want to be able to do that. What are the basics of a system in order to accomplish a good hair trick? Can it be done on a low end budget?
