I don't know how many people have done this but I put flexible blue led light bars around my two "10 subs and wired them to my amp so when the sub hits the lights glow around the sub. It actually looks pretty cool i'll try to post pics. Is it necessary, probably not, is it cool? Yes!

I don't know much about those polks but are they the high-end ones??

 

I like them a lot, they have enough power to completely vibrate the truck if needed even though my Alpine 500w amp is a little underpowered for them.

i have a set of similar lights, i want them to come on with my subs or radio, but not come on when the bass hits. could i ground the lights to my truck, and run the positive wire to my remote wire for my amp? or possibly my ignition wire for my radio?
