I never knew the 2v vs 4v bit. Interesting. It doesn't bother me much though, mine is plenty loud enough to rattle your brain in my little extended cab!

2v vs 4v, the 4v will give you a much cleaner signal, not really more power.
that cleaner signal will translate into sounding like it has more power because it needs less to make it louder and its much more of a clean/crisp sound coming from the speakers.
