Hey Everyone. I need some help. I have a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT ext cab. I still have the factory 6 Disc CD Player but I dont have the factory 6x8 speakers a few years ago I installed 4 Pioneer 6x8 4-ways. My Project is going to be is to buy 2 6x9 speakers and 1 8" sub. I want make a mold or something for the 6x9's and put them on the flat spots on both sides in the back where the fold down seats are and put the sub above the jack or take the jack out and then put the sub there.

Whats I need help with is what amps would i need to power those three speakers?

Next, I want to change my factory6 disc cd player head unit with the 2007 Ford Ranger 6 disc cd player with ipod aux unit, now i was told that the 2007 is capable with the 2001 head unit i want to know if its true or not?
