how are these subs?

someone recommended these to me and i have never heard of them. im thinking of redoing some of my stuff, new subs and amp are on the list.

http://www.woofersetc.com/p3415/RWE3...-Subwoofer.htm

Now what amp should i use with these? i dont wanna underpower them, but at the same time, i done have ALOT of cash, i mean i got some to spend, but i really dont like dumping a bunch of money into projects like this. Just need to find a REALLY powerful monoblock, thats cheap...

.....OR..... just try these subs on my current amp and see how they are? then go from there?

basically my problem is, my amp is **** and so are the subs, so i wan to take care of that. also my speakers are, distorting but thats another problem....crossovers maybe....

Phil. One channel per speaker. Leave it unbridged and amp the front speakers. Get a monoblock for the subwoofers.

If you have subwoofers in the back, the rear speakers are pretty much drowned out. Amping the front one is what you'll hear.

MB QUARTS Are a very high quality speaker, im running a pioneer head unit, 2 12" kicker comps with a 300watt kicker amp which are going on 4 years old, and i just bought another 12" boston acoustic sub running on a 300watt total amp, which is roughly 1 year old,i also had to apply a ferit cap due to draining my battery, also got 4 3 way infinity reference speakers for great treble and sound and 4 infinity tweeters for the highs, overall my **** beats hard but also when turned up loud has 0 distortion and has no rattle at all mostly for the fact i drilled the box's straight thru the floor of my truck :)

MB Quarts makes really good stuff and for 79.99 per sub that is a killer deal!!

get a amp that will push 1000 watts RMS and you should be fine. rockford has a mono 1000 watt amp that is 1ohm stable. that would match up nicely with the dual 4ohm voice coil subs!!

they will still work good with the dual 2ohm ones but the wiring will be different.
