Hifoncs amps are by far the best amps I've dealt with. Good Choice. That amp should provide you with more then enought power for just about any woofer(s).

good grief. if the power goes out at your house you can use it as a generator. You might even be able to do some light welding with it.

nice amp!

In the second picture, is that dual 1 awg inputs? What kind of alternator(s) are you planning on upgrading to so you can get the power out of that thing? What is that thing fused at? The only reason I ask is it is beyond me how someone powers one of those things to get 5000 watts rms. Heck even over 3500 watts rms would be hard to pull. I have done audio for years. I know from dealing with amps between 2000-3000 watts rms that draw b/t 200 and 250 amps, that they can and aubsolutely cut off due to low voltage. I say this even on dual battery systems, with 180 and 225 amp alternator upgrades, and caps. I have run those things and tried to make them hit when the voltage had dropped down down to 9 volts

dont know really how you installed the stuff, but with my 2 A3000s whihc i would guess anywhere around 4000rms or so, my 200a alt with 3 batts, Big3, no cap, 1/0 wire grounds andwhat not i barely got dimming, at idle you could tell but driving i never really noticed any

yea dual 1/0 inputs, no idea on alt yet i know there will be a 300a one, dont know if im going to run dual alt yet or not: stock alt and then one for stereo

you have to provide fusing, they reccommend 500a fusing

Yeah...badass amp, but I guarantee you'll never see the "5,000 RMS"

Frickin' huge *** amp though, hah.

I used to run HiFonics amps, out of the 4 I used I had one that wouldn't run stable at 1 ohm as advertised, otherwise they were good amps.

For my next project/system I picked up a pair of Arc Audio amps. the 1500DR for my Brahma 15, and the 4150CXLR for my seperates. I can't wait to start the install next week :)

Mine ran stable at nominal 1 ohms. It was 1.7 out of box rise though...
