Very annoying issue!!!

I was gonna buy new speakers for my truck, but than i thought why??
I have two perfect very nice sounding pioneer home speakers that i will use.

So i took one speaker and stript the wire, and the other wire to connect it to the truck, and put them together and taped them up, and my god they sound great!!!

But i do the exact same to the other side, and they don't work, no speaker i have will work with it, not the old ones nor the new ones. This is the drivers side rear speaker, all the others work great, just not that one, why not?

Thanks

did you even look to see if they are connected to the head unit? make sure your connections are good and if everything looks good then start tracing wire because you have a break somewhere

From a novice, maybe the ohms of the speakers a re off.
One will work OK but two throws it off.
I have been looking for speakers and some mention 4 ohms and others 2 ohms, sometimes you can run one sub if 4 ohm and two if 2 ohm, maybe there is a mismatch going on with two speakers.

Again, I am new to stereo installs and speaker but just thinking out loud.

No that's not it, because even with the other speaker unhooked, it still does not work.

Its not gonna mess with the ohms unless both speakers are hooked on the same channel.

Ok problem solved!!
After hours and hours of stripping down the interior, tracing the wire, i finally came across a connection in the dash that had come undone. But is fixed and i have great audio now.
