1. Do you know how much that would cost?
2. You would not be able to turn it up past what you could get from say 3 12's without frying your ears(no joke)
3. No, 18's would not fit.

One 10" sub is more than enough.

2 10's in ported boxes is what I had

turning the alpine head unit up to volume 10 was loud anything more was bone rattling for such a small cab

For 2 you're probably going to want to do a wall. You can get around 13cuft out of a wall in a ranger while keeping decent seat room. If you can find 2 18's that will work in 5cuft net space ported or 6+ sealed then I say go for it!

I see you're in SW Florida. What part specifically?

This is my system guys, maybe you can get some ideas off it? I did this about 3 years ago, haven't changed a thing, sound quality amazing. I did a lot of research as far as speaker location, size, amperage, etc.

ok, well, maybe 2 12's? and i have another question. can i make leds that will pulse to the bass of the music? or is that impossible. see, i got this dream in my mind, at least 2 subs in the back, with clear glass or plexiglass with blue or red leds inside that pulse to the bass.

i had one 18....definitely had room for another. woulda been enough room for...maybe around 8-9 cubes sealed and under the rear glass line.

one 18 was crazy
two 15s was fun....but if i had the money, id recone my 18 and go back to rockin that! well ok...i have the money, but....if i wasnt a cheap lil asian like i am... lol

You could just get some cold cathodes with a sound module. They would put out more light. My buddy has something similar in his car. They pulse to the bass.

Here: Logisys 15in Cold Cathode w/ Sound Module - Blue at Xoxide!

What part of SW Fla you from?

bigger speakers hit different than small ones...I cant stand 2-3 10"s but my 15"s shake **** harder and dont hurt my ears except occasionally....I say got for the 18"s if you can get them for cheap...2 15"s would probably suffice if you had em in a good box and good power getting to them...I love 15"s will never go smaller again.

Instead of 2 18s i was originally gona do, i got a good deal on 4 q power 15s. Im gona completely wall them off with about 1000rms to each sub. Go for 15s or bigger.

$300 for 2 18"s sounds like a good deal....Anything is possible now adays, but personally I dont know personally how you'd have the airspace for 2 18"s without pushing the pass seat all the way up or taking it out...or a bedcut...but not many people are into chopping up a truck.

If you do go through with it I want to see it...sounds pretty awesome.
