are audiobahn subs any good. if so what are the good models? or bad?

 

If you want somethin with a lot of chrome go for it. If you want somethin worth running a wire to pass.

 

I have an audiobahn 1200 DUB 12" sub that's pretty stout. (Currently for sale) I wouldn't call it a SQ sub, but it was definitely loud enough to be obnoxious. I was feeding it just under 1000 watts in a sealed enclosure, and it'll rattle change in your cupholders, and make you hate your sliding back rear window with a passion. Overall an excellent value for the 70 bucks I paid for it. I will admit some of their product line I have doubts on (for example all of their midrange speakers), but they do have some good items as well.

Any nobody should buy a speaker for looks, that's just dumb.

As a whole, the company has a bad rap, but you'll find most don't speak from first hand knowledge, just hearsay. (same for sony) I wouldn't put them in the same category as MTX or Alpine, but I wouldn't put them with lightning audio either...

 

 

I don't know anything about there quality but my brother in law designed the "Star" logo they are using. It wasn't supposed to be there big logo it was just a design contest. Which sucks becuase he signed a waiver releasing it to them then they went and used it as there logo.

 

dood audiobahnz is teh pwnzor, youz kan krank dem up all teh way and theyz wil holds a 10 thouzand wat ampizzle, theyz is also fat nasty because they has more chrome than anything ive ever seen because teh chromz makz it likez twce as loud because when i be bumping wit my MT i seez the kool kidz come up besides me and they be having an audiobahnz sticker on da back o dey truck i dont even tryz becauze i knows mynez kant touch dem, ima cell mize MT and goez get me some of dem phat audiobahnz subz because theyz the shiznit

Well I have their 12" subs. The subs aren't bad, their amps suck.
