The stock headunit has 4 holes, 2 on each side. They're literally round holes in the front that you need to find. Go to your kitchen and steal 4 of your moms shishkabob skewers. Then you stick them in the holes and bend them (either in or out, just dont snap them) and use the bending motion as a pulling out motion. I think you bend them out to remove the headunit. Then once you have it out, you hold it in your hands and unplug the connections behind it. They're those annoying lil clicky latches you have to use a screwdriver or something to pry up.

Bad explanation, just attackit he front with 4 skewers. They also sell a tool

to remove the H/U, if its like mine, i found it easier to just take the whole radio bezel off, two screws at bottom then it popped off, radio will come out with it, push in the clicky things on each side, and bingo, radio should come right out-the tool idea didnt work for me so i just pulled the whole thing out

You gotta run a + battery cable from the battery to the amp. Run a ground cable to a good grounding point (I used the rear jump seat bolts). Then run a remote wire from the headunit to the remote port on the amp (blue wire or blue with white stripe.. cant remember haha). You also have to run RCA's from back of the headunit on the subwoofer out to the inputs of the amp.

To hook up your amp you want a lower guage wire-8 guage is sufficient, but if you have 0 guage wire, and you have enough, hook it up,
bigger wire means less risistance means more power output
remember to put an inline fuse on your power wire to your amp-should be less than 18" from your battery and no baby fuse either, you need like a 60amp fuse for it
Go to best buy-or similar store and you can buy an amp kit that has everything you need including-not limited to-depending on what you buy
power wire with fuse
remote wire
ground wire
speaker wire
rca cables
and closely follow the directions with the amp to correctly install it
and make sure you hide the wires and dont half way it, make sure you make it look good
its simple to do, and the directions with the amp should be able to give you a good idea how to do it
