i've heard rumours that the factory deck in my 2007 B4000 has two harness leads in the back instead of one. i'm curious ..... what does each control?

i've been to future shop and best buy attempting to get the adapter harness for an aftermarket head unit, but unfortunately they don't know what the hell they're doing. i struck out twice.

bestkits.com has been down for a couple days and crutchfield.com doesn't list anything for my truck. where did the guys with 2007s get theirs?

 

take a picture of your plug to Best Buy.....they should be able to match your up....

BTW: you have the "world plug".....it is common in any Ranger '99+ (i believe it was '99).......it is a rectangle 16 pin plug, that is it....

 

errrr not so much. i got a little bit bored at the shop today to i decided to pull my truck in. i clipped a coat hanger apart and used the ends to take out the head unit. there's definitely two plugs back there, and of course the antenna lead.

so yeah ..... anybody have a lead on a 2007 adapter harness? they've gotta be out there. i just haven't found them yet
