Factory head unit harness

Hey...i have a 08 ranger with a sirius ready and aux. Input and i am installing a dbl din touchscreen.

My question is that i noticed there are to harnesses going into the oem head unit...im wondering what are there function. I'm pretty sure the one is for the power and speaker wires, but what is the smaller one for?

Hi. I am having the same problem though I figured out the harnesses. The smaller one goes to both the sirius satellite box and 4 of those wires goes to the aux. I had to take the aux panel off to match the wires. I assume the rest goes to the satellite. I left that harness out and turned the radio on and the satellite did not work nor did the aux.
Now my question is with the main harness. I figured out all the wires but 2. And those 2 are the same. Black with a blue stripe. I was wondering if our vehicles have a separate amp. Do you know if it does? I am assuming you have the Pioneer sound system. I can give you the codes for the rest of the harness but these 2 wires have me confused. Hope to hear from you soon.
Ralph
